Carnival Corporate Night
Corporate hospitality at it’s finest. A regular staple of the 8 Day Weekend week.
Our event dedicated to the towns businesses has grown over the last 30 years from a trade fair to a prestigious Corporate event and is often over subscribed.
Please note we are unable to accommodate bookings of less than 1 table (10 people).
Taking place on Wednesday 9th July, we have various entertainment throughout the night, with guest speaker TV Presenter, International Rugby Player and Stuntman MARTIN BAYFIELD, a 3-course meal and a live band MADHEN to finish off the evening in style.
We hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a evening of fine entertainment, food and wine in the company of friends, colleagues and Saffron Walden’s leading businesses.
Any dietary requirements but will need to be informed 2 weeks prior to the event.
Dress code is Lounge Suits / Cocktail Dress.

Martin Bayfield
TV Presenter & Former England International Rugby Player Martin Bayfield is a former British Lion and England International rugby player, broadcaster, and winner of two Grand Slams. Martin is one of the funniest after dinner speakers, awards hosts and established auctioneers on the corporate circuit. Regaling incredibly entertaining rugby anecdotes with impeccable comic timing, alongside his tales from the Police and his time as Robbie Coltrane’s body double in Harry Potter, Martin is an all-round accomplished entertainer.
Madhen

Carnival Procession
The Carnival procession has been a key event ever since the very first Carnival over 50 years ago and is the 2nd largest non-funded procession in the country. Rumour has it that the procession can be seen from space, although we have yet to verify that!
