Five are one of the biggest UK boybands in history. With countless top 10 hits, sell out tours and million selling albums, Five have set their place in history. Their debut album 5ive was released in 1998, reaching number one and certified double platinum. Their first hit, Slam Dunk (Da Funk) hit the top ten in December 1997 – this was followed by a further ten top 10s including three no.1 hits – Keep on Movin’, We Will Rock YouandLet’s Dance; and three no 2. hits – Everybody Get Up, Until The Time is Through and If Ya Gettin’ Down. Got The Feelin’, When The Lights Go OutandCloser to Me also reached top 5 positions and 5ive’s hits remain pop classics. The five piece disbanded in 2001 after three studio albums and a greatest hits album. Now Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon are back to entertain fans as a trio. 5ive can’t wait to welcome fans to the final night of Saffron W alden 8 Day Weekender!
S Club 7 were one of the biggest bands of the late 90s and early 00’s. Formed in 1998, they quickly gained a world-wide following with their huge catalogue of hits and their own BBC television series. A catalogue of No 1s hit the charts including their debut single Bring it All Back, followed by Never Had a Dream Come True, the award winning Don’t Stop Movin’andHave You Ever. Further top five singles – including the pop classics ReachandS Club Party, helped the group dominate the pop charts into the next decade. S Club disbanded in 2003. Jo, Bradley and Tina, now performing as a three piece, are excited to ‘Bring it All Back’ with a great show of hits in Saffron Walden.

Formed in 2011 by Glamrus frontman Kevin Beecroft adding Bassist Ricky Barker and Singer Songwriter Phil “Pipster” Watts. In 2012 joined by Kevin Hall on “mountains” of keyboards and last but by no means least Mark “Flash” Gordon in 2015 replacing the original drummer. The band have had an amazing 6 years with a previous appearance at the 8 Day Weekender in 2014. As well as being busy on the local scene Back to the 80s have also been booked internationally including appearances in Dubai and Croatia.
A totally live experience authentically recreating the sound of the time whilst adding a “rockier edge”. Sing along to Queen anthems or punch the air with Simple Minds this is something for everybody and a real crowd pleaser.
