“Back to the 80s relives the period of time when music became decadent! A trip down memory lane with hits from Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Wham, David Bowie, Culture Club and many more.

Formed in 2011 by Glamrus frontman Kevin Beecroft adding Bassist Ricky Barker and Singer Songwriter Phil “Pipster” Watts. In 2012 joined by Kevin Hall on “mountains” of keyboards and last but by no means least Mark “Flash” Gordon in 2015 replacing the original drummer. The band have had an amazing 6 years with a previous appearance at the 8 Day Weekender in 2014. As well as being busy on the local scene Back to the 80s have also been booked internationally including appearances in Dubai and Croatia.

A totally live experience authentically recreating the sound of the time whilst adding a “rockier edge”. Sing along to Queen  anthems or punch the air with Simple Minds this is something for everybody and a real crowd pleaser.

The band are currently recording  an EP for release sometime in the near future”
