Opening Saturdays at the Carnival have had such iconic acts in the past play the 8 Day Weekend Stage.
2025 will be no different as 8 Day Weekend Presents 90’s Mixtape on Saturday 5th July 2025.

Lineup details
Berri
earned a record deal in 1994 at the tender age of nineteen. Her first release, dance anthem Sunshine After the Rain raced into the charts, peaking at number four and staying in the Top Ten for nine weeks! Follow-up Shine Like a Star also went straight into the charts and reached number one in the Club Charts and Top 20 in the National Charts.
Both releases enjoyed international success with Sunshine After the Rain earning gold records in both the UK and Australia.
Rozalla
Her first UK single “Born to Luv Ya” became a club hit in 1990, but Rozalla’s career took off when the dance anthem, “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)”, which reached number 6 in the UK singles chart in 1991. The single became a Top 10 hit in many European countries soon afterwards and reached the Billboard Top 40 in the USA the following year.
It was later included on her debut album ‘Everybody’s Free’ which made the Top 20 in the UK Albums Chart and went silver. The album produced two more big hits in “Faith (In the Power of Love) and “Are You Ready to Fly?” reaching number 11 and 14 respectively in the UK Singles Chart.

D:Ream’s song ‘”Things Can Only Get Better”, released in the spring of 1993, which gave the group their first chart success topping the charts giving them both UK and International success.
In early 1994 after touring with Take That the re-release of “U R the Best Thing” became the groups second chart hit. They were nominated for Best Dance act in the MTV Europe music awards, and then for Best Single in the 1995 BRIT Awards.
East 17
In the 1990’s, East 17 was one of the most popular and iconic boy bands in the UK – the musicians sold over 18 million records all over the world.
The group has released 18 top-20 singles and four top-10 albums, with hit songs like “Stay Another Day,” “House of Love,” and “It’s Alright,”, East 17 has been a favorite of fans around the world since their start in 1991.
