The countdown to Carnival begins for real when our programme of events is released and distributed for free to over 15,000 homes in and around Saffron Walden.
It is a tradition that dates back decades and we can finally celebrate getting to print with our third version of the programme having seen Carnival postponed twice due to Covid. You will see that we are doing our bit for the environment in terms of Recycling & how we are being supported by a local business to achieve that, learn more about us at Saffron Walden Round Table, who Carnival has benefited in the past and see all the amazing events and acts we have on across the 8 Day Weekend.
For the members past and present of Saffron Walden Round Table, the Carnival programme is also the best way to pay tribute to a man who was instrumental in designing many of the Carnival characters that became synonymous with the event. We are honoured to dedicate this edition to Graham Harding who was an instrumental part of the Programme’s rich history and he will be sorely missed at this year’s event.
